Monterey is only 25 minutes away.

There is a gas BBQ near The Retreat for your use! There is a microwave. Dishes and siverware. 
Laundry is available!

I do have a twin airbed available (including towels and sheets) if needed!!

Private location with breathtaking views and access to pool and spa with free gated parking! Centrally located in LA, close to Downtown LA, Hollywood and our neighboring cities of Glendale and Pasadena.

We own a private residential compound with four (4) separate private units on the ground floor (a main house, a 2-bedroom unit, a 1-bedroom pool house and 1-studio unit), all with their own separate and private entrances from the gated parking area. The main house is on the second and third floors where we, Dennis and Alex live with our dog, Apollo. The pool house has all the comforts of home. It is private and cozy and you have the entire unit all to yourself. It has a full kitchen, 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, a living room with a futon-bed, bathroom, and a private back yard patio with a BBQ grill. It is equipped with AC/Heat, coffee maker, Wifi, office desk, DVD player and Cable TV.

Enjoy the tranquility of your own private retreat, with the convenience of the city life at your footsteps! This pool-house is equipped with all your needs.

Guests may conveniently self-check-in using their assigned gate code provided prior to arrival time. Simply enter your code at the gate, drive up the hill and park in the designated parking space. Follow the corridor to the right, past the pool to the rear of the complex where the Pool House unit is located. Guests are welcome to enjoy all common shared areas, including the pool and spa, as well as the washer and dryer and extra guest restroom .

Our compound has plenty of space and privacy. If you happen to come across other guests, please feel free to say hello! We love to maintain a fun and friendly atmosphere.

As we live on a hillside there are multiple levels and steps around the property, we always ask to observe caution. Please be aware that the property is not accessible for wheelchairs or other mobility devices.

Also our property might not be appropriate for children since we have a pool, multi-levels and big doggie (he is kept inside the house).

Our neighborhood is very safe and our property is very exclusive! For added peace of mind, we have security cameras by the main gate entrance and common areas.

The Joshua Tree House

The Joshua Tree House is a two bed two bath 1949 hacienda located 10 minutes from the west entrance of Joshua Tree National Park in Joshua Tree, CA.

This is a place for dreamers to reset, reflect, and create. Designed with a ‘slow’ pace in mind, our hope is that you enjoy every part of your stay; from making local coffee by drip in the morning, choosing the perfect record to put on as the sun sets, or by relaxing in the hot tub surrounded by over 100 Joshua Trees and a starry night sky.

This house is very close to downtown Joshua Tree with many shops and restaurants about a 10 minute walk from the house. This also means that some sound from the highway can be heard. Welcome to the Joshua Tree House! This hacienda was built in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) With over 100 Joshua Trees on the property, the views from the house are magical. If you’re up for it, sunrise on the front porch is incredible. We estimate that some of the larger Joshua Trees on the property are as old as our country!

There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms in the house, and works well for a group of friends, two couples, or small families. We can also set up an extra memory foam mattress in the hammock room (has privacy with pocket sliding doors) to accommodate groups of six. While you’re staying here, the house will be your private oasis. Feel free to explore the yard (we are on 1.25 acres). Also make sure to enjoy the Jacuzzi and incredible views from the front porch during your stay! Our driveway wraps around the back of house, so feel free to circle around the driveway rather than backing out. This house has old plumbing and has a septic system. PLEASE do not flush anything other than toilet paper. The second bedroom is detached, and is about a 10ft walk outside from the main house.

Transient Occupancy Tax – A 7% TOT tax required by San Bernardino County is included in the nightly rate. For our area, Airbnb does not yet break this down as an extra line item, but rather is included in the base price.

Pet-Friendly Cottage Near Beach 

Our quaint, thoughtfully-stocked 300 sq ft cottage is located steps from the ocean (5 min walk), yet tucked away behind our home, affording guests ample privacy, easy parking and all the amenities of home. Sip wine on the patio after a day of adventures while listening to the surf, and sleep soundly on our new king Saatva eco-hybrid mattress.

The space

Our 1 bed/1 bath, studio-style cottage is offered fully furnished with kitchenette, organic fair trade coffee, selection of teas, and high quality organic breakfast items provided.

If you have food allergies or dietary limitations of any kind, please let us know in advance, we’re happy to accommodate you!

*PET POLICY: Well-behaved pets are welcome – we are dog lovers! However, based on over 9 years of hosting experience, we now charge a $25 cleaning fee for pets over 15 lbs, or multiple pets. This is not collected up front (via Airbnb) – you can pay the cleaning fee during your stay. (Our policy is too specific for us to build it into our Airbnb fee collection.)

The cottage comfortably sleeps 2. If your party is larger (i.e. a 3rd person, or a child) please contact us in advance to discuss arrangements, we can stash a twin air mattress or Pack ‘n Play and extra linens in the closet prior to your arrival.

Bring your bicycles – our mild climate and stunning scenery make the Monterey Peninsula an ideal spot to explore on 2 wheels.

You should know a couple things
1. We are a pet-friendly property – if you suffer from pet allergies you should know there may have been a guest pup in the cottage prior to your reservation. Though we do clean the cottage thoroughly between guests, it is likely that allergens are still present. Ultimately – we want you to be comfortable, therefore we *STRONGLY* discourage booking if you have pet allergies – there are so many lovely options in the area and most are not pet-friendly. 2. Approximately once per week (usually Friday mornings) we have our weekly yard service. Sometimes the maintenance is relatively quiet (raking, trimming, etc.) and sometimes the situation is far more noisy (leaf blowers, weed wackers, fence repair, and the like).

Perfectly located Castro

1895 Victorian flat w/ 12 ft ceilings. (No Long Term Rentals or couples) Close to Mission, & 2.5 blocks from Castro theater. MUNI is 3 blocks away. Room is small and cosy, and great value for one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the US!

We live in an 1895 Victorian top flat with 12 foot ceilings on the best block in San Francisco. Our calendar is always up to date.

Location Location Location~ Our home is close to the Mission, Lower Haight, and 2.5 blocks from the Castro theater. The underground is 3 blocks away, with a street car even closer. The room is small and cosy, but a great price for one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the US!

Please fill out your profile if you are interested~and make sure to arrange a time to meet prior to your arrival, I lead a busy lifestyle, work full time, and wouldn’t want to miss anyone! Check in is at 5 and we are 37 steps up from street level.

Restaurants are plentiful and beautiful Dolores Park is quite close. Your room has a twin day bed 75 inches long with a desk and a solid door. The room is 9.25 feet by 8 feet. Amenities include wireless and a gorgeous full kitchen. We have one cat that enjoys company almost as much as we do and a sweet rescue pooch. Our flat gets more light than any other home I’ve been to in my 13 years of living in this great town.

For all you foodies out there BiRite Creamery, Tartine, Delfina’s Pizza and Proper are within 4.5 blocks of our front door. Michelin rated Range is just a few farther.

As much as we love bikes, and we do, we don’t have space for storage. If you rent one please return it at the end of the day or lock up on the street at your own risk. Please ask if you would like to have a friend for a short visit.
